Lincoln-based ECI Software Solutions, specializing in cloud-based business management products, has purchased Nottingham-based Merchant Systems Group, the developer of the eCommonSense® platform.

eCommonSense is designed by a craftsman specifically for the building material supply industry. He will join ECI’s LBM and Hardlines group, which will leverage eCommonSense both as an integration with its cloud-based ERP solutions and as a stand-alone global e-commerce solution.
